KyLee's Cheer

So, last April when the fam attended 6th grade orientation with KyLee over at the jr high I was not a happy camper about my baby being in middle school. In Utah, 6th graders still hang with Kindergarten kids. The thought of sending my helpless child off to the cruel world of middle school frankly scared me to death.
Now a year later, I couldn't be more happier with the school, her grades, cheerleading, and how she has handled the school year. I love every aspect about Canarelli Middle school and what it has offered KyLee.
KyLee tried out for the cheerleading team last September. Her sole purpose of trying out for cheer was to understand how the try-out process worked so that she would be ready for dance try-outs that followed the following week. KyLee hasn't cheered since she was about 5 and so her expectations of actually making the team was minimal.
After a week of try-outs and working out each night with her best friend and her mom (who was a cheerleader in college) she made the squad of 18 girls. She has had the time of her life and has loved every minute of junior high. She hasn't had one teacher that she hasn't totally loved, one pratice where she hasn't learned something new, or missed the opportunity of not being able to try out for the dance team. She has made wonderful friends, loves her team and coaches, and has pulled a 4.0 every quarter. I am so proud of her and everything she has accomplished. She is a true example of hard work really and truely pays off. **** Go Colts!!! ********
