5th Grade Dare Graduation-Reedom Elementary

In May, Reedom Elementary held a DARE Graduation for the 5th graders at Reedom Elementary. This was such a cute and fun assembly. The guest speaker of the event was Channel 3 Weatherman, Mike Jameson. He spoke about how awesome the kids were and how he was so proud that they vowed to be drug and alcohol free. After he concluded his speech he filmed the kids yelling and waving to him and showed it on the 6:00 o'clock news before he did the weather. Of course we had to watch it and record it at the same time. Since Reedom Elementary is a brand new school this year, at first they were not going to have a DARE program in the school because of funding. But somehow they were able to fund it and have a DARE office at the school. He was a cool guy and KyLee really enjoyed the program.
